Test Using Corona Renderer’s New Bend Decals
The Project
This was a personal project testing Corona 12’s new bendy ward decals. Before you could only project straight onto objects which made it useless for round or cylindrical objects such as bottles. In the past I have done many bottles with moulded glass emboss that is very time consuming doing the traditional way of UV unwrapping then adding displacement. Now you can simply create the glass displacement and project the decal onto it. SO MUCH FASTER!
The Execution
For the labels I used Corona Layered Materials to get the gold and displacement emboss. The label designs were bought as EPS graphics from Dreamstime.com. Only took 4 hours to finish this.
