I was asked by my good friend Fransesco Franko to come up with a concept design pitch for a immersive restaurant project he is working on. The restaurant will be owned by a group of local talented chefs that will have different food/mood themes created every 3 month.

I was asked by my good friend Fransesco Franko to come up with a concept design pitch for a immersive restaurant project he is working on. The restaurant will be owned by a group of local talented chefs that will have different food/mood themes created every 3 month.

For the pitch we desided to create a 10m x 10m dining room with 3 close range projectors per wall with 4 tables with 8 diners.  I used a pre built hall and made all interior walls and ceilings slightly off white (best for projections not blowing out). I decided to use a shiny black floor to create dramatic contrast and reflections wich will be visually ingageing with movement. Each table setup has a LED flooring that can project images and colours as well as controlled LED ceingling lights.
