I had a phone call from Source saying they had the maddest brief ever to create some 3D  key art of cells with chicken & pig heads. I have to agree this one was top of the list!

This was a real challenge as I had never rendered anything looking microscopic and the shear size of the final images (2000mm x 1500mm at 300dpi!) for bill boards. I bought a fairly basic model of a chicken & pig as timing was tight. Then I had to decapitate them and stitch the heads onto cells. All the texturing & lighting was a challenge using displacement maps and I had to be super cautious to get the renders done on time. I used Cinema 4D’s native renderer with AO to get the job done. The client was super happy with the results. These were used in many variations of artwork layouts.
