3D Visualisation For Event In Chamonix
The Project
This was my 3rd year working with Article Agency on the HOKA UTMB event in Chamonix. We re-used the same modular wooden structure as the last two years which made the project slightly easier. It was still a challenging project to work on. Lot’s of idea changes, on looks and budgets.
HOKA are very specific on detail so no corners cut.
The Execution
They supplied me a SketchUp model with basic design elements and positioning of these in the unit. I took these basic units into Cinema 4D to create more detailed and polished models. They supplied me mood boards with exact materials to use. These were all created with Corona Renderer materials.
The DJ table was designed from extracting speaker parts to create a custom DJ table.
Article Agency supplied me selected 3d models of the furniture to use and all the signage and panel artworks.
HOKA were incredibly happy with the final result and said the 3d renders looked exactly as the finished installation as you can see from the pictures.
